Practice

Originally from Mexico City, Olga developed from a very early age the body awareness through dance, learning the physical and emotional benefits that this brings.

As a lover of the sea, she studied Oceanography in Ensenada, Baja California. Living a deeper connection with nature, she discovered her spiritual and integral relationship with the universe.

In her self-enquiry I followed a Yoga Teachers Course at Ananda Yoga from the Heart in 2008. Following her path as an instructor she realized the need for a safe and conscious practice, performing my second certification in Anusara Yoga, where her studies are focused on body alignment and concentration in the inner self.

Following her passion of learning more to serve better, she continued her education with different workshops in functional anatomy, therapeutic yoga, biomechanics and completed my studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture) at Neijing School in Cancun. Today she am a teacher who offers a therapeutic approach in her classes, helping in the effective treatment of specific injuries of her students.

At the end of 2016 she traveled to India where she attended teachings of Masters such as Úsha Devi a direct student of Iyengar and Surinder an Indian teacher of Hatha Yoga. Then she arrived in Koh Phangan, Thailand where she took an intensive Ashtanga yoga workshop with Ewa Juszczyk.

She is currently a student of philosophy in Tantra Hatha Yoga with Michael Stewart in the "Shanta Vira Yoga" system, which incorporates a wide variety of meditation practices, mantras, mudras and pranayama, for a complete exploration and a deeper study of the Self.

Her classes are dynamic but seeking the consciousness of the body to integrate it with the breathing, to achieve a connection between the physical body and the subtle body, and thus promote the insight that a subtle conscious movement makes a difference in posture, practice and life.
